Who we are
We are the Niagara Frontier Regional Camera Club which is referred to as NFRCC below. We are an international photography oriented organization in the Niagara Frontier region of Canada and the United States. Our website address is: https://nfrccevents.org. If you commence a purchase throught this site then we will collect information necessary to complete the purchase process during the transaction.
What we collect and store
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- The products you have viewed. We will use this to enhance your visit, for example, we may show you products you’ve recently viewed.
- Should you choose to initiate a purchase, we will collect and store your location, IP address and browser type: We will use this for purposes like estimating taxes before you finalize an order.
- We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you information about your account and order
- Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Set up your account for our store
- Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
- Improve our store offerings
- Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them
If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we initially collected and use it for and we for at least as long as we are legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for seven (7) years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses
Who on our team has access
A limited number of members of our team have access to the information you provide us to facilitate the administration of this site. Team members with access including and limited to: the NRFCC President, Treasure, Secretary, Site Administrator and Shop Manager. As needed, these team members can access:
- Site access and error log files.
- Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
- Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
- Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.
Who we share your data with
Unless legally required to do so the NRFCC will not share your data with any third party except PayPal.
If you make a purchase, we accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email that will be sent to the email address we have on file for your account.
How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website, we will store the personal information they provide in their user profile indefinately. All users can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Purchase related information will be stored at least as long as required by govenment statute and possibly longer unless otherwise requested by you.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site then you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This erasure request cannot include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
If you make a purchase through this web site then the information necessary to complete that purchase will be sent to PayPal as part of that process of completing that transaction.
Cookies
This site uses cookies. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. Otherwise, if you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

User Supplied Images
If you upload images to this website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location and meta data from images on the website. You retain full intellectual propierty rights to any images that you may upload. By uploading an image, you agree to grant to the Niagara Frontier Regional Camera Club a royalty free, unlimited life span license for the use of your image in a manner that the NFRCC deems appropriate for the promotion of NFRCC activities or for other educational purposes.
