A color managed workflow is critical to ensuring that your images will always look the same regardless of the medium being used to render them. This presentation will go beyond a simple cookbook approach and give you the background knowledge you need to better understand color management and how to properly apply it in your post-processing workflow.
After introducing some basic color terminology, we will discuss why color management is needed and the role played by color profiles and their relationship to color models and color spaces. You will walk away with a better understanding of how to achieve consistent color across monitors, printers, projectors, and electronic devices.
This class is for those times when you go out shooting and the light just isn’t cooperating. While it’s always great to practice capturing photos in great light, sometimes we just can’t – and we need a little help from Lightroom and Photoshop to make the photo be everything we imagined it could. In this class you’ll learn some simple techniques to add some sun, flare, and light to your scenes, even when they start out a little flat.
