We’ve all seen landscape images that make us want to be there but what makes them different from the plethora that we don’t glance at twice? A good landscape (or seascape) makes us pause and at least briefly imagine ourselves there. In this talk Ellen will talk about her approach to capturing the magic of a location whether it’s your backyard or on the dream trip of a lifetime at the far corners of the earth. She’ll cover her thought process, goals, types of lenses she uses and accessories, how she composes the image, what she includes and what she doesn’t, and what she does in post processing.
